Quiet The Noise

Here are some of my favorite scriptures for those days you need to lower the noise of the world, increase the voice of God, and take those intrusive thoughts captive!Β

Lamentations 3:22-24 (KJV) 22 [It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

Psalm 118:17 (KJV) I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Psalm 118:24 (KJV) This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 34:3 (KJV) O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!

Psalms 118:29 (KJV) O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Psalm 24:7-10 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. WhoΒ is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Matthew 11:28 (KJV) Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
